School Life
Registration is usually in late November for the following school year, from our open door, and throughout the year. When places are filled, we keep the inscriptions on a priority list.
1. File opening
Please fill in the open file format pdf form OPENING FORM FILE - PDF and send it to us by e-mail with:
- A copy of the last report (according to the degree required) and the previous year (notes and behavior)
- A small recent photo.
- A short essay about the reasons for your request.

Administrative expenses, at $50, are payable to the International Montessori School Montreal.
Upon receipt of your application, a file will be opened in the name of the child and a receipt will be sent. You will then be invited to meet Ms. Christine Naccache, director or Anne-Marie Yeghissian, the deputy director, to discuss the opportunities and services we can offer your child.
2. Listing
The registration form can be completed and submitted with the form for opening a file or thereafter, at a meeting with management. A (non-refundable) registration fee at a cost of $200 is payable to the Montessori International School Montreal.
3. Entrance exams
For all levels of primary, entrance exams costing $50 must be made in French, English and mathematics.
As from 2014, children who wish to enter Grade 1 to Grade 6 will have to make entrance exams.
